I'm going to have to rate the food a 3.5/5. The service and atmosphere is a vibe in there. The shrimp is very hearty but they are not devein. The garlic butter sauce was off. But it's bar food so expect nothing else. I wish I could have rated it higher though. The staff is very nice though

Best fried skrimps evah! The atmosphere is great & tipping is an event. Worth the trip for the skrimps & the experience. And if you don't go then you're not worthy.

It was basic neighborhood bar good. I had the large green mussels which were seasoned great & the veggie platter. Seasoned well also. I will say they were a bit stingy on the potato ( but it's all good). The scenery again basic neighborhood bar crowd with good music. The service from the person that took our order to the bartender was excellent. I would pop in again.

The clock bar sits right in the hood, but please by all means don't be intimidated. When I tell you the food and people are a VIBE, trust me it's a vibe. The drinks were sweet, but amazing at the same time all because the alcohol meshed perfectly, and last but not least the food, geshhhhhhh just get you some, you won't regret it.

Clock Bar has the perfect name because let me tell y'all it is always a TIME (no pun intended )! A true Philly staple & only the real Philly Jawns go to Clock. Located on Broad & Erie in North Philly, it can be seen as a sketchy area of town, however, the people are really down to earth and the heart & soul of Philly. As soon as I walked into Clock Bar, a woman asked me if I was interested in buying perfume oils - gotta love it, the patrons are about their hustle! If you want a less hectic experience, it's recommended to go early in the day (although I went at 2:30pm and it was still lively). The seafood is AMAZING and everything is served in to go containers even if you're dining in (walk up to the front to place your order and have cash on deck because it's a CASH ONLY establishment). Clock Bar is most known for its colossal shrimp, however, the mussels are slept on and my favorite selection (probably the best mussels I've ever had). I hear the crab legs are great too. And the best part is that they serve these reasonably priced super sized slushies for $12-14 and you can even take them to go! Generally they are garnished with candy (e.g. the Fruit Loop has a Dum Dum Pop on top) which makes it a fun experience not to mention drink names like Smooth Bitch are quite entertaining. Can't wait to return to Clock Bar because it's for the culture!
